This is regarding to the situation of Storewars Business Simulation for the Chinese market.
The owner of the intellectual property of Storewars worldwide is Management Information Holdings, (MIH). Full information of the distributors worldwide of Storewars, can be found at the website http://www.storewars.net
Until the end of 2008, the distributors in China were HCD Global, which no longer have any right to use any part of Storewars intellectual property, training programme, related software or presentations. HCD Global unfortunately persist in trying to market stores and other training programs (negotiation skills) based on the Storewars intellectual property and legal proceedings have now been commenced against them, in the High Court in London, which is the relevant jurisdiction.
In addition Ms. Julia Li, owner of HCD Global attempted late last year to obtain a copy of that Storewars software from other franchisees worldwide. This request was obviously refused by all franchisees. As a serious international company operating in China, we would suggest that you would not wish to use training services that have been fraudulently obtained. Further any company continuing to use HCD Global to deliver Storewars, negotiation or other similar training basaed on our know-how, experience and intellectual property will undoubtedly be drawn into the current legal proceedings.
To summarise: Legal proceedings have commenced in the High Court of London against HCD Global. HCD Global has no legal basis to deliver Storewars or related training in China (since the end of 2008). Storewars is available directly from the owner of the intellectual property MIH Open courses will commence again in China shortly.
